Course Overview
The NAP101 Online Program equips middle and high school students with critical knowledge and skills to understand the dangers of fentanyl, recognize overdose symptoms, and take life-saving action using naloxone (Narcan).
Through engaging digital content, interactive modules, and real-world application activities, students develop confidence in overdose prevention, peer education, and community awareness.
Course Structure

Module 2 | Recognizing an Overdose | 20 min | Teaches how to identify overdose symptoms and respond appropriately in emergencies. |
Module 3 | Using Naloxone (Narcan) | 25–30 min | Provides step-by-step instruction on how to use naloxone to reverse opioid overdoses. |
Module 4 | Prevention & Safe Choices | 15–20 min | Explores harm reduction, peer pressure resistance, and strategies to prevent fentanyl exposure. |
Module 5 | Review, Quiz & Reflection | 10–15 min | Reinforces learning through knowledge checks and personal reflection exercises. |
Learning Objectives
By the end of this program, students will be able to:

- Explain the risks associated with counterfeit pills and mixed substances.
- Identify the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose.
- Demonstrate how to properly administer naloxone (Narcan).
